Steps Overseas is a recruitment consultancy that places candidates from India into overseas employment. Raboche is our candidate-facing platform — the website and Android app where candidates build a CV, browse verified vacancies, and track an application from first submission through to departure.
What we do
We work with employers outside India who need staff, and with candidates in India who want to work abroad. Our role is the whole path between those two points: sourcing and screening candidates, presenting them to employers, arranging interviews, and handling the visa and travel documentation that follows a successful placement.
The roles we recruit for are concentrated in three areas:
Hospitality — cooks and chefs, resort and restaurant management, food and beverage service.
Skilled trades — mechanics, technicians, and related trade roles.
Technical and commercial — technical, sales, and retail positions.
Our current vacancies are concentrated in the Gulf, principally the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, alongside roles in Europe and Asia. Many listings carry employer-provided visa sponsorship, accommodation, and meals; the specific terms are stated on each individual job.

Free CV builder — build a professionally formatted CV and download it as PDF or Word. Supports the Europass CEFR language proficiency table (A1–C2) that many European employers expect.
Verified vacancies — every listing is posted by our team, with salary, employment type, and the visa, accommodation, and meals position stated up front.
Application tracking — a reference number and a visible status for every application, with a notification each time the stage changes.
English and Hindi — the entire platform works in both languages.
For employers
Sourcing and screening — candidates are screened against the role before you see them, not after.
Structured shortlisting — shortlists are assembled with searchable CV data, work history, and language proficiency.
Interview coordination — scheduling and feedback capture across time zones.
Documentation and deployment — visa and travel paperwork managed through to the candidate's joining date.
How placement works
Profile and CV — the candidate registers and builds or uploads a CV.
Application — the candidate applies to a specific vacancy and receives a reference number.
Screening — our recruitment team reviews the application against the employer's requirements.
Shortlisting — suitable candidates are shortlisted and put forward.
Interview — an interview is arranged with the employer, and feedback is recorded.
Documentation — for successful candidates, visa and travel paperwork is prepared.
Deployment — travel and joining are arranged.
A candidate can see exactly which of these stages their application is at, at any time.

Raboche is operated by Steps Overseas. Our contact details are published below and on every page, our privacy policy sets out exactly what candidate data we collect and who it is shared with, and candidates can request deletion of their account and data at any time from within the app.
Every vacancy on Raboche is posted by our own team rather than scraped or syndicated, and closed positions are removed rather than left to go stale.
